How your voice session is handled
We know sharing audio with an AI service feels sensitive — especially when you're working through stress. Here's exactly what happens:
What we guarantee
- Real-time streaming only. Your audio is streamed live to generate guidance. We do not record, save, or store your audio on our servers.
- Live captions, not transcripts. Captions exist only in your browser during the session. They are never sent to our servers. When you end the session or close the page, they're gone.
- Never used for AI training. Google does not use your session data to train or improve their models.
- No human review of your sessions. Your sessions are processed entirely by AI. No one listens to or reads your session.
- No device fingerprinting. We do not generate or store device identifiers, browser fingerprints, or any form of silent cross-session tracking.
ResetMe.coach uses
Google Vertex AI configured to achieve
Zero Data Retention (ZDR). In-memory caching is disabled at the project level. ResetMe.coach has been granted an exception to Google's prompt logging policy, meaning your sessions are not logged even for abuse monitoring purposes. Session resumption is not used, so no session data is held between requests. You can learn more in

What we collect
We collect two types of data. They are completely independent — there is no link between them.
Usage data (no personal information):
- Which stress area you chose (e.g., "Work" or "Health")
- Your before and after stress scores
- Session duration and which voice you used
- Which buttons you tapped and general interaction patterns
- Device type (mobile/desktop) and browser info
This data helps us understand what's working and improve the product. It is tied to a random session ID — not to your name, email, or any personal identifier.
Email (if you choose to share it):
- If you enter your email on the results screen, it goes into a mailing list. It is not connected to your session data in any way.
- We use your email only to send you updates about ResetMe. No spam, no sharing, no selling.
Payments:
- Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
What we do not collect
- We do not record, transcribe, or store your voice or the AI's responses.
- We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
- We do not use device fingerprinting or any cross-session identification.
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
How we use information
- To provide and improve the coaching experience.
- To understand which session approaches help most (via aggregate stress score changes).
- To identify and fix technical issues (e.g., connection drops).
- To send you updates if you gave us your email.
Sharing
- We share data with providers needed to run the app: Cloudflare (hosting), Supabase (database), Google Vertex AI (voice processing), and Stripe (payments).
- We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not share it with anyone else.
Your choices
- All sessions run under Zero Data Retention by default — no configuration needed on your part.
- Stop a session at any time — audio streaming stops immediately.
- Skip the email field — your session stays fully pseudonymous.
- Contact us to request deletion of any data associated with your email.
